Lebtivity “Finding Events Is A Piece Of Cake”

Finally a group of creative, hip guys decided to think out of the box in Lebanon to design & develop the easiest way to find your favorite local events. Here we go, too many websites in Lebanon features events, nightlife, food, clubbing, exhibitions, etc. unfortunately they all SUCK. From design to user experience to visuals to marketing to their messy divs & disturbing layouts.

Lebtivity didn’t create rocket science of featuring latest events, but they are genius enough, how? and why?

Usually you access event’s search engine website to easily find your needs, they designed a “Month” menu bar with key element left sided drop down list “Year”and sub menu “Days” making the search so damn fast, loaded on the same page instead of loading the result in new window.

Events are displayed in a very engaging organized form, poster, event name, time & location, so you know exactly and in 3 seconds the whole events’ details.

For the UI, that Applish (Apple theme) simple, grain, calm contrast of colors, the grey & purple, let you browse freely drawing hollywood smile on you face. Well I’m so exaggerating you may say, but its the first time I see such work in Lebanon & deserves to be on top of all.

For the logo, Rana Abou Rjeily followed the latest trends of calligraphy, such an “Instagram”,” Snapguide” apps logos, making it so popular, fancy, simple & trendy.

“Responsive” have you heard about that before?

Defintion: Responsive Web Design  is an approach to web design in which a designer intends to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones).

And this what those guys succeeded in doing, check it on your iPhone or at least minimize the screen size manually & you’ll see the magic (at least for some of you).

Guess its enough talking for now, you must go & explore it by yourself Lebtivity
